Roseanne - the closed circuit TVs are there to stop the abuse that was taking place. And people can care about more than one group of beings. This happens to be about the animals that are thrown away by the dregs of society in Memphis. Abuse was rife in this hell hole. They kill hurdreds of dogs each week. Take a look at the TV monitors some time and see them being dragged away to the kill room.
Matthew Pepper was terrible. I truly can't believe you are missing him. They will never get anyone compassionate in that place. The workers there would rather kill than let them be rescued.
Watch the monitors and see dogs being surrendered and dragged straight to the kill rooms every day. This place is a hell hole!
