I agree with your long-term assessment of the Suns. What a fun team. It's a testament to how stunningly bad ass the Western Conference is that this team might not make the playoffs.
It also underscores the need for the Grizzlies to get younger soon. Between the likelihood that the Lakers will buy their way back to contention and Portland, Golden State and the Spurs remaining good, it's already crowded in the West. Add in HUGE upsides in the coming years for NOLA and Phoenix and the West looks INSANE for the next 5 years.
