Re: “You Are For Sale

This so-called "editorial" (and I use the word in jest) is the biggest bunch of bovine excrement I've ever had to side-step through to read while controlling my laughing in many, many moons.

The blatant hatred and moonbat-scat lunacy is priceless and worthy of preservation.

Link Saved!

Hell, everyone knows "the Russians" are behind all of this!

Re: “Gubernatorial Hopeful Boyd, an East Tennessean, Has Roots in These Parts

Apparently Oak & Toak forgot (or were out to lunch) when the pro(re)gressive Luttrell made a special (taxpayer funded) trip to Nashburger (thanks John Hiatt) to spew the evils and pitfalls of lawful Tennesseans with handgun permits dining in establishments that serve alcohol to then governor (I won't repeat the sorry SOB's name) who subsequently vetoed the overwhelmingly approved bill that was (rightly) overridden in the state House & Senate!.

Bottom line: Screw Mark Luttrell...and the Pro(re)gressive Republican horses asses he rode in on.

Re: “Riverside Drive to Potentially be Repaved, Bike Lanes

Every time I hear or read of "Bike Lanes", I can't help but wonder if in the near future a communist grey jumpsuit and a "Red Star" cap will be the required attire to travel the lanes.

Re: “Gubernatorial Hopeful Boyd, an East Tennessean, Has Roots in These Parts

Mr. Randy Boyd would do well to distance himself from an inherent rights-infringing phony like Luttrell because many Tennesseans will think he's cut from the same mold.

My bet is that Boyd "IS" a cut from the same mold; and if he runs, he will be referenced in the Tennessee political annuls as an "ALSO RAN".

Re: “NEW UPDATE (More Names Added): More Layoffs Hit The Commercial Appeal

Bottom line: Albeit somewhat slower regarding the "printed press", the Internet changed everything (hey, old habits are hard to break).

Yeah, when there were only one or two newspapers and three televised news networks available to folks, well, media constructed and maintained a captive market (much like RV refrigerators).

Ain't that way now.

To quote Mark Collie, "Like a record made of wax, she's never comin' back".

Oh yeah, the Boiler Maker!

Brings back some memories from long ago of some really fuzzy morning afters.

Re: “Meet the Resistance: ACLU Hosts 'Resistance Training' Saturday

If the ACLU was as adamant about every American's civil rights (i.e. the first ten articles of the Bill of Rights) as it is with phony activism, misguided political innuendoes and ideological lawsuits, it could rise from the depths of insignificance, shame and inane tomfoolery that most Americans view the organization as.

Personally, I believe the RICO Act should have been used years ago to shut the ACLU down.
