What an opportunity for equality. Divorce equality, domestic violence equality, marriage counselor equality, adoption equality, etc. I think there is way more to it than just the marriage part. How about "the old ball and chain" phrase. Now that's equality on a grand scale!
I still owe you one for my Daughter losing her teaching position. I know you weren't directly responsible but you and Tomeka started that takeover of the county schools so I figure I owe you.
Ms Brooks is an embarrassing, racist, public servant deserving no respect or consideration from anyone. She can't move past her history (as if it really were her personal history) so she'll never be more than what she is today. Now THAT is a sad story.
I swear, you could comment on yourself and have an argument for months just between your personalities. I've been reading your posts since before the schools takeover and they just keep getting stranger, and longer, by the month. Good luck to you.
I get it perfectly. You stated that certain folks carry concealed weapons with total disregard for the rule of law and are willing to shoot other folks just for being different from them. (Leave Mississippi out of this.) The law in Tennessee states, and I'm not a lawyer so please correct me if I'm wrong, that you must have a concealed carry permit to carry a concealed firearm. I think that's pretty clear. So it would still seem that you are endorsing breaking the law and hate crimes.
Thank you for that enlightning history lesson. My one hope for the future is that "all" people regardless of what they look like, can get past history. But if what you say is true, and God I hope it's not, you are saying that black folks will shoot white folks on site for being in a public park just for being in the park and being white. If so, you just made point #2 as to why Mempho should have a fence around it and require a passport to enter. Thanks again!
"African Americans in Shelby County don't give a damn about carry permits, they will carry guns anyway"
That is about the most accurate statement I've ever seen from you. You have demnstrated in just one sentence why Memphis is such a "challenged" city.
