Marsha Blackburn also opposed the reauthorization of the Violence Against Women Act because it included certain specific protections for minority groups. She's a peach when it comes to women's rights. Somewhere in the great beyond Shulamith Firestone is shedding a tear over Marsha Blackburn.
Marsha Blackburn really likes to oppose any legislation which supports women's rights. Just any legislation at all. It is like a nervous tick she has in that regard.
Sad. I am actually not shocked by her latest nonsense at all. Just not shocked at all.

This is what the county Mayor was quoted as saying he wanted them to have done in January and they are just now finishing things up with a 30 million dollar deficit? That is swell news.

@david I read somewhere that the attendance for the MCS is not even remotely static and that it is hard to get an accurate count of students because of that. Apparently, some rather impoverished youngster move around quite a bit. And some students do not have their parents sign them up for school in all that timely a fashion for whatever reason.
I saw on the local news last night that the schools will have various start times but they do not yet know which schools will have which start times.
Still with me?
The schools start times will be 7a.m., 8a.m., and 9a.m. Are they to close at different times as well? And how will the...

Seems like this merger still has an unmercifully long way to go. I cannot imagine how our County Mayor must feel right now. Or any parents of public school children for that matter.
