Re: “Cohen's Example

Didn't Steve Cohen in 2008 compare Hillary Clinton to the Glenn Close character in the film "Fatal Attraction?"

That is not showing respect to women. Especially a woman that is so smart and brilliant as Hillary Clinton.

What hypocrisy!

Re: “Santorum Takes Tennessee; Stanton, Walton, Basar Win in Tight Races

When Amy Weirich's record is examined more closely, it will show that she is a pawn of Bill Gibbons. Also she has no political record. Everyone knows that the District Attorney General post is a political position. Hopefully the Memphis media will bring to light the corrupt Memphis law firms that are bankrolling Weirich.

Re: “Santorum Takes Tennessee; Stanton, Walton, Basar Win in Tight Races

What a bad night for Bill Haslam and David Kustoff. The Tennessee Republicans rejected their candidate Mitt Romney.

Obviously Bill Haslam has no political pull in this state. He cannot even deliver for Romney.

Kustoff can forget about any political future in Tennessee politics. He is clearly out of touch with his own party.

The Shelby County Republican is not as strong as they claim to be.

Re: “Ready or Not...

Political neophyte Amy Weirich is not an incumbent. She has never been elected to the District Attorney position. She was appointed by the Republican political machine.

Please do not mislead the readers.

Re: “Luttrell: Honest (but Cautious) Broker

Mark Luttrell is a Right-wing Goldwater Republican. He is not a "centrist." Why is this media trying to portray Luttrell as a moderate? He is the most reckless politician in Shelby County. Luttrell has no experience in education. He admitted that he only taught school for one year. He could not handle it.

Now Luttrell is trying to shape education policy for the future. Luttrell should stay out of this mess created by AC Wharton. Wharton did not pay the 57 million dollars to the schools which caused this merger.

Luttrell is mediocre at best.
