BVW, I'm certainly not a fan of the liberal slant of this paper. However, I do realize this a "niche" paper and because of that, I have no problem with the viewpoints presented. By the way, Chris Herrington does an excellent job with the Grizzlies.

The problem with that strategy: The majority of those willing and able to pay for quality are conservatives.

Also OTP, you never answered my question about Millington Municipal School District. It would be 1/4 African American and an addition 6% other minorities. Would you scream racism at their leaders? Is that enough for racial diversity? Where do you draw the line? Let's have federal law dictate that all schools must have a racial makeup of 50% African American to 50% white! Wait what about Hispanics, Asians, and the Native Americans?! You see where I'm going with your argument?

Please explain this OTP. Do you think the company that is given the custodial contract will relocate the staff here from outside the Memphis area? Of course not, they will be local hires! So if it is about local jobs, what is the problem???
