Instead of wasting money and fighting for a"solution" to resegregation" why don't they focus their energy into changing Memphis schools' administration, most of the teachers and all the board of education? Memphis' schools are the worse in the nation and it is thanks to administrators and teachers who are more interested on power and control than in working for the best interest of the children. I am a parent who last year enrolled my children for the first time at one of Memphis' Schools, it was a huge mistake. I had never seen teachers that BULLY children all day long and whose mediocre teaching of academics to children is their forte. How dare they demand respect from the children. They are more interested on festivities and socializing than in teaching, and when the school year is almost over, without any remorse, they approve children to go to the next grade. That is about regular education, let alone Special education's administrators and teachers, they are a joke and their mediocre work is an injustice to children with disabilities, one can file complains but the State nor anyone at all does nothing about it. I am so sorry for those children who have these mediocre teachers and administrators managing and teaching those schools. They only want to collect their salary without making any effort for the best interest of the children.
