Many Memphians are glad to see this camp go. After all we don't want to actually see the homeless and less fortunate, we want them under the bridges and overpasses out of sight.
The problem is the number of homeless and near homeless is growing all the time.
With the 1% crowd holding their money and jobs there is no flow of money, no trickle down, and thus more and more formerly stable middle class people fall into financial stress and become jobless and maybe even homeless.
For all who were glad to see the camp go, it says a lot about your shallow understanding of what the Occupy Movement was all about.
The poor are still out there. When they come with stick and clubs for food you will definitely be sorry you did not listen this time.
