When I wrote this email to the Flyer, I simply wanted to describe my mom's experience obtaining the photo id. I made a few statements I'd like to correct; the first being the person who took my mom to the Highway Patrol Station, was not 80 years old; she's only 75. [my apology to Barbara] The second, according to my mom, is that they had to wait two and a half hours at the HPS instead of one and a half. Here's my suggestion; if you know an "old person", see that you take the time to help them get a photo id. The way I see it, if enough "old people" vote, they may just see that some decent legislation is passed in the state of Tennessee. In one of the comments listed above, someone suggested I sounded like a "progressive"; all I can say is, that is better than sounding like a "regressive." Thanks for you interest.
