Re: “Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood

When we went in to adopt our dog, we heard employees complaining about the number of visitors coming in and how she would rather hide in a closet than deal with the public all day. I said to her "shouldn't you be thrilled this many people are interested in adoption?" and she just laughed and went into an office. Most staff were less than friendly. The only person helpful was the lady who checked us out and she was so nervous that it was taking so long..she kept apologizing. Our dog was covered in ticks and his neuter incision was infected. Didn't seem much of a turn for the better to me. We adopted him anyway (despite them asking did we want to trade him for another dog that didn't need vet care). I'm glad we got him out before it was too late.
