Re: “Cohen v. Holder on Delta Conundrum

I really question Congressman Cohen when he was there for the merger as well so I'm a little skeptical with the "tough" questioning of the Attorney General as if "he" is Delta. If there is any anti-trust issues it will have to be investigated between the airline and the MEM Airport Board which is where the real issues lie. It's silly to sit up there and think your position as Congressman and a "promise" would make Delta not do what's in their best interest and it was completely stupid on his part and the AA board to not get these "promises" in writing when this is what's done at many other airports around the nation. The writing was already on the wall that DL would not be keeping the fleet levels where they are when they've picked up an additional airline (NW). You wanna get tough Congressman?? help get the AA board fired so we can redo the gate leases at the airport, stop Delta's bullying of other airlines there and foster new competitors to enter the market.
