Mr. Rogers sees the dogs/cats as a 'product'. Why won't he advertise his 'product' to the Memphis community by getting out at weekend adoption events, and equally important, advertise his product on the web (it is 2013) by using up to date hardware and software in real time so everyone knows what animals are there - picked up as strays (so the owner can go pick them up), and those available for adoption? MAYBE 5% of the animals there are actually put on the website. Otherwise, NO ONE knows they are there. Transparency and communication and compassion with the tax paying citizens of Memphis will be the key to the start of success. Is that so difficult? It starts at the top. Take responsibility! Everyone is fed up with 'promises'! The animals suffer - and no one believes a word of this! Numbers are easy to make up. Show everyone you CARE and make the above efforts... Who is holding him accountable?
