Re: “Sign of the Times?

Forrest was exonerated from ALL guilt regarding the Ft. Pillow incident! The yank commander in charge at the time Forrest took Ft. Pillow was a man named Young. At the Senate hearing in 1871, the yank commander appeared in court FOR Forrest, and said it was a lie. Come to find out, a yank paper was trying to garner support for lincoln's war. THE WAR WAS NOT ABOUT SLAVERY!!!!!!! The South seceded the Union because of TAXES (called tariffs at the time-google the Morrill Tariff...and Corwin amendment). If the South wanted to preserve slavery, all they had to do is ENTER the Union again. I am NO "bastard"...you have been taught a LIE from government, and YOU are the fool if you don't READ ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS...IT'S RIGHT THERE ONLINE. Or perhaps you are intellectually LAZY.
