No democrat has a chance of winning a Senate race in TN. Personally I can't wait for the chance to vote against Alexander in the primaries but he is a lock if he gets by those.
If he really wants to be political and make a difference, Brown should consider a run for Memphis mayor. The current crop of contenders are not worth the price of ticket to a City Council meeting.

Delusional is truly an attribute defining OTP. The sad part is that OTP is representative of the Memphis mentality. Memphis is a dying city. It's "leaders"just don't care as long as they and theirs keep getting checks. They are a case study in depravity and stupidity.
Strickland has a clue but he will be beating his head against the wall. With Blue Crush,, I don't know what he is smoking but ,the one bit of hope to turn the crime problem around, has been purposely destroyed by Armstrong and Wharton. Just tonight I see where huge marauding bands of thugs are rolling folks downtown.
We all knew the lie of reducing taxes that Memphis used to support surrendering the school charter was a whopper and repeated that assertion ad nauseam for a couple of years. You go Wharton.
What's wrong with Memphis? We all know. It is hardly worth repeating. If the judge doesn't kill the munis Shelby County has a chance to be salvaged but Memphis is dead. Only bankruptcy with a state takeover will change anything. It is really sad because Memphis could be a great city.
Hey Strickland, how are those 400 some political appointees doing?

Yep, MCS2 all 'roided up. Who would have thunk it. Two and one half years ago we all knew where the CC8's road would lead and here it is in spades.
Sovereign citizens are boyscouts compared to the CC8. Heck who would have thought 300,000 people could get jacked, mugged, and chained out in the back yard while a pack of thugs just took their schools and tax money.

What do you think that ADA split percentage will be between students in Memphis and the Suburbs? Do you think kids in the suburbs will be getting an equal split? Do you think there will even be a way to find out?
The have the entire amount of money for all the kids and will spend it any way they see fit. They will allocate everything any way they see fit. The suburbs will be paying a higher percentage and getting even less.
I don't know about existing hard assets but any thing to come will be dealt out by the new MCS as they see fit. How many teachers and programs in SCS will be cut back compared to now remains to be seen but no one seems to think current staffing levels will remain the same.
Guess what kind of input the suburban folks can look forward to having. Hint: What will happen to the school board after the CC8 packs it this fall?

He is absolutely an enemy combatant. As an American citizen he willingly and knowingly entered into jihad against America and the Western way of life. There is zero question to this fact as he proudly has proclaimed his jihad.
He did far worse then taking up arms against American military. That would be enough to strip him of citizenship. He slaughtered and maimed unarmed, unsuspecting, and innocent American citizens. Men women, and children. He is murdering scum worthy only of death.
He is a traitor. He is a cold blooded calculating murderer. He may or may not be part of an organized terrorist cell. He deserve zero rights as an American citizen. To risk a single additional life in the touchy feely netherlands of weighing his rights against the rights of innocents to not be slaughtered is a cold and callous ignorance that will only lead to more American deaths.
What is an amazing facet of this story was the rush of many in the media to want to have had this heinous act the fault of a "right wing extremist" type of person. Extraordinary lengths have been gone to ignore that he is a Muslim extremist. This administration won't even use that terminology.
Islamic extremists are at war with all who disagree with their distorted insanity. The terrorists who engage in the slaughter of innocents surely laugh out loud at the silly naivete of those who would deny their openly stated and proudly demonstrated debauchery.
BTW, any who do not recognize their Allah, covert to Islam, and conform to their distorted insanity are infidels who can be slaughtered by them with all the blessings their "god" can bestow.
