Very well said. I met Di Anne shortly after moving to Memphis, when I found a place at the bar at Mollie Fontaine's. I only knew a hand full of people here, was a little homesick, and was wondering if I had done the right thing accepting a transfer here. I can honestly say that she almost single handedly helped me make Memphis my new HOME. I found myself looking forward to "our time" together at Mollie's. Each time I had friends visit Memphis, there was no question as of to where we were going. It had to be to see Di Anne. I asked her one night about buying a few of her CDs for Christmas gifts. She said, Baby...just tell me how many, and when you want them. She gave me her cell number to be sure I could follow up with her. We chatted on the phone a few times (about a LOT more than those CDs!) We agreed that I'd pick them up at Mollie's the following weekend. When I got there, she had them all gift wrapped, and had even included two for me from her! I will always treasure those CD's, and the sweet friend that she became. Memphis has certainly lost a treasure...
