Re: “Yep, Hattie B's Coming to Midtown

I'm excited for this. I just hope it won't be overflowing with Nashville-types. You know what I mean. ;-)

Re: “Back to the Future

Republicans have allowed radical racists to take over their party and it worked. We are now seeing the true colors (pun intended) of many Americans.
They can talk all they want about jobs, but the truth is that fear of the other is what motivated so many of the voters in those tiny, rural counties. If they really wanted jobs, they could make a move to a place that has jobs. Instead they stay in places like Ticklick, WV and complain about Mexicans taking their jobs.

Re: “Back to the Future

The difference is that behavior from Hillary would be out of character and shocking. But that behavior from drumpf is expected. His supporters knew he was a baffoonish blow hard. That's what they like about him. They know nothing about the constitution (except the 2nd amendment) or how government actually works. And they don't care.

Re: “The Gateway Project Has Great Promise

Brian - it's an editorial which, by nature, will have bias. The point of this editorial is that there are more than just makers and takers, St. Jude being a great local example.

Re: “Winning: You Can't Blame Trump for Selling the Sizzle

You're right AP - we're number one at spending money (going into debt). Hey, I think we're also number one in mass shootings.

Re: “Winning: You Can't Blame Trump for Selling the Sizzle

America has never been number one. Years ago, somebody could just say that the country was number one at whatever, and people would just believe it. Then we got the Internet. We know better now.
