The owners should take a good look at the CVS on Union before they demo.
How long has it been since that CVS opened? It looks like most Midtowners have stuck to their guns at that one. CVS doesn't appear to do nearly the amount of business as Walgreens and Rite-Aid in Midtown.
OK. I'm wrong. No biggee.
Yeah - union membership is low. Private sector is less than 7%.
That's why I don't understand why people get so worked up about them and say they are ruining the country.
Public sector unions are necessary to protect jobs that are basically at the mercy of each new administration.
I would assume that you don't show proof of insurance when registering a vehicle because the person registering the vehicle may not be the person driving it.
I too would like to hear something new about the French Quarter hotel site.
The last I heard/read about it, the owners were being dicks and just sitting on it. They are probably waiting for the square to be complete and then sell to the highest offer.
Obviously, they have every right to do that.
It's just a shame the property doesn't have better owners who actually give a damn.
Also, I wonder if mr. grumpy could give some examples of interesting news from the burbs that hasn't been covered in the Flyer.
@dio- perhaps you should go back and reread my comment a little slower. A said that you were implying that several city garbage employees call in with back problems every day. Notice how the word thousands was in parenthesis. That was meant to point out how your comment was poorly worded but I still understood the meaning.
Anyway, your link does not support your claim. Or maybe I just need to reread it slowly. But I don't see anything in the Sandusky Register article that supports your claim that several employees call in with back problems. But I guess you have not support for that claim. You were only using the link to support your claim for total number of employees?
