NOTA BENE: This article doesn't even mention their AGUAFRESCAs, which are, IMHO as a lifelong Mexican-food obsessee, much more newsworthy than their ice-creams. They're mostly home-made (and they were very patient and graceful in answering my many questions on the subject). Perhaps more importantly, they're delicious, fresh, not too sweet, huge, and cheap. One medium drink c/w/should be enough for two people (at least according to Giuliana). The horchata was just the way I like it, nutmeg-heavy, thin, and refreshing, while the tamarindo was almost sour, with just a touch of tamarind pulp left in it to vouch for its freshness. A++!
ALSO: the truck's idiosyncratic "discada" is pretty amazing, if you're feeling meaty. it's like the down-home mexican equivalent of a meat-lover's pizza or a muffaleta.
