I am a colleague of Christain’s and the Memphis Flyer is making a very derogatory statement about her to call her a plant. Should I indict the paper for this derogation? No, I won’t but I will say, I hope going forward there will be some discretion used when characterizing a person who is doing her job to ask questions which need to be asked.
Any campaign will bring not only every day people, but paid shills to destroy the opposition—does this make derogation right? I say NO, and I say, that’s fine anyhow, because it is just noise.
Judge Joe Brown is back in town, and will be our Attorney General to make right what has been so wrong, for so long..
All the shills, that come out of the woodwork, like the 17 year locust to make noise and distract from the truth, can’t make noises and their derogation and lies loud enough to distract the citizens of Memphis from the facts of a broken system.
Rape is a clearly a civil rights issue --even though there may be no protected class for the victims, there should be!
Rape culture is pervasive all over the country and the world.
The blood of the great Martin Luther King, Jr was shed here for civil rights, and if he was still alive in person, he would do EXACTLY what the judge is doing—there is no reason why Memphis can’t also be the place where the rape culture is a thing of the past, and justice prevails!
MLK would have the same message that the our beloved Judge Joe Brown has and when truth is spoken, all the noise in the world can’t drown out the clear and beautiful sound!
Although rape victims are not a protected class (yet) Judge Joe Brown will make changes to somehow treat rape victims “as if” they were a protected class by simply making sure the victim is not blamed, more care will be taken when approaching the investigation, and evidence in rape kits will be used to prosecute. That is justice. That is righteous. So, regardless of the shills, the locus, the loud noises out there, nothing changes the facts and JJB will make our town a safe one again!
So, I am here to put the papers, the bloggers, the shills on notice, no matter how loud your noise, the facts speak for themselves--you can’t make noise loud enough to make people forget that >12000 rape victims were tossed aside, and mistreated. And for all the other victims out there who have not had justice, JJB is bringing justice to town!
