@thecatsmeow: Anyone who was at the meeting Tuesday heard that SR Consulting did not want to remove the drive-thru because it was driven by sales. It was said at the meeting by Reaves. Strickland even challenged her on it, asking if any McDonald's have ever been built without a drive-thru.

@thecatsmeow: McDonald's reps have been more vocal about preserving drive-thru traffic than about increasing pedestrian traffic. In fact, one of their reasons for not wanting to budge on the loop-around drive-thru is because those make up 70% of their sales, apparently. They don't seem to be prioritizing foot traffic, which only adds to the questions.
