Re: “Harvey Out, Martavius Jones In; Three Other Candidates for May 6 Primaries in Doubt

A group of concerned Shelby County citizens are organizing against the current unethical trends that dominate the legal community. The state legislature has taken notice of what is going on in Shelby County.

The legal community, which includes elected judges and lawyers have been unaccountable for too long. Oversight and scrutiny has been non-existent.

We will be active in this year's county judicial races. We will hold judges accountable running opposed and unopposed.

The public has a right to a fair oversight of judicial ethics. We ask the state legislature to rein in the Shelby County judicial system that is wrought with inefficiency and questionable ethics.

The public is encourage to file complaints against lawyers and incumbent judges running in this year's election regardless of any established state and county deadlines.

For incumbent Judges

This year will be the longest ballot in Shelby County history. There is a crisis of confidence with the local legal and judicial sector and the public. The public has no confidence in the legal community to uphold justice in Shelby County,

Here are the addresses that the public can file complaints against attorneys and judges running in this year's county and state elections. We encourage the public to file complaints against judicial candidates who have engaged in unethical legal practices in the courtroom before the February 20, 2014 deadline.

We will target judicial candidates running opposed or unopposed for removal from the bench that have violated judicial ethics.
