I think the Conley conundrum will continue for awhile - the issue has never been where is his ceiling in the regular season, but where is it in the playoffs. In the playoffs his lack of size creates a defensive liability that teams continually exploit, and he will be facing top point guards in long series every step of the way without breaks like last night. His primary defensive value in the regular season is exploiting his quickness to create a high steal rate leading to break opportunities, but that isn't going to be as much of an asset facing CP3 or Parker every night. I have always maintained that for him to be worthy of the top 5 pick status and help us win significant playoff series that he would have to become a high PPG and highly efficient scorer, something he is showing this year with a consistency that has been lacking previously. If he can carry that into the postseason then I will agree with you.
