      <![CDATA[Even if our current Attrorney General and Reporter (whom I have seen no reason to admire) turns out to have his opinion ratified by the Tennessee Supreme Court (as constituted when and if such a case is heard), the General Assembly can redefine the job of administrator to recognize party affiliation as a valid job criterion about which NO LAWSUIT in state court can succeed. It may be too late this year, but there's next, and it only takes a majority of each house to override a (Democratic) governor's veto.
