He was a great man. I only got to see him once before he died. But he was and remains mine and my mother's hero. He is still carried in the hearts of many. And hopefully when I get to heaven, I will get to see him again. As I write this, I am just coming up on my thirteenth birthday. I know that he would've loved to see his granddaughter turn 13. When he died, he had only met me once but he was buried with mine and my brother's school pictures. I hope all who knew him will enjoy reading this.
