Thanks Chris!!! With the current fall out between Kahn and Love, the Grizzlies might actually have a shot at getting Love.

I think the Griz will end up with Love, Thabeet, Hill, or Evans on draft night.

Another great column, Chris. First, I think Wallace is bungling this big time. He should be hyping Rubio all he can to increase his trade value. Rubio was the consensus 2 pick before the draft lottery but now seems like no one really wants him thanks to Wallace. These trade rumors for the number 2 pick are funny if not insulting. Second, as of now the only true sure fire pick would be Harden at the second pick. No way would I pick Rubio and trade down to get Love and filler. This is turning out to be the Pau trade fiasco again. Wallace is a great guy but just doesn't have the media savy to know how to make a great deal for the Grizz.

Love would be perfect with gasol, he can run the floor, pass the ball, shoot and rebound. All good, all what we need. Not that i think that will happen in Memphis, it would make too much sense. Regardless, im not sold on the fact that Thabeet or Rubio are the answer. I'd rather take Harden, who could turn out to be good, or trade down and take my chances on someone more NBA ready. Then again ive been wrong once before.
