1. Analyzing Thabeet: great pick no trade was availiable at the right price so we took a guy who can shore up the defense and allow Marc to play his natural position at the 4 spot also allowing Marc to become more of a scoring threat because now he doesnt need to worry about defense and rebounding 24/7.

The Suns likely landed their man in Thursday night's draft before their pick ever came up. Golden State's selection of Davidson point guard Stephen Curry at No. 7 was likely made for the Suns as part of an Amaré Stoudemire trade that can't be completed until Wednesday.
