In the past two games, they seem to have given Thabeet more pure post-up touches. He's clearly not prepared to be effective that way, but summer league games don't count so there's probably no harm in letting him work on that.

My understanding is that UConn used Thabeet almost exclusively on offense getting him the ball in the very low post, throwing it over the top to him when he was fronted, pick and roll situations with him diving to the hoop for a finish at the rim and over-the-top weakside alley-oops. I don't see any reason why the Grizzlies can't use Thabeet exactly like this in the NBA given his size.
