Hume wasn't talking about evaluating good and evil, he was talking about observation and hypothesis on causation, and noted quite correctly that *absolute* reliance on induction might present a problem in some cases.

CHG is once again bearing false witness when he fabricates the claim that Hume said someone must have knowledge of all cases in all times before evaluating something.

thanks for the civics lesson, but I'm quite aware of what our nation is. and what a red herring is.

I can agree that maybe the terms "good" and "bad" are completely subjective, and hastily chosen. If I wanted to narrow my worldview to a just/evil binary, perhaps I should adopt Christianity (or at least the fashionable and inconsistent right wing denomination of it).

I should elaborate on my argument in a few areas.
