What ever happen to the Overton Heirs claim on the promenade? I seem to recall that they were trying to take the land back b/c the city never followed through with the intent.

The RDC has always wanted the City to use eminent domain to take over the Promenade blocks, so the RDC could turn them over to private developers. In the early 2000s, they got the City to pay a DC law firm to figure out how it could be done, and write the lawsuit.
