By the way, it occurs to me that if _all_ well-connected and influential people are able to get special breaks and privileges in the military, then John Kennedy's PT boat should have never been rammed by the Japanese, John McCain should have never been shot down over Vietnam, and Pat Tillman should still have an NFL contract waiting for him.
