      <![CDATA[In the years I worked in Memphis (except for my years at CBC) from 1996-2004, June West and Virginia McLean were two of the most creative and determined civic leaders I was privileged to know, and the work of their respective organizations reflect those attributes. They deserve Memphis' support and are models for the kind of leadership we need in our society.
