I grew up in Whitehaven from the early sixties, and reading the article about Al's Golfhaven took me back. Maybe in a future article, you can write about the history of Maywood, another great memory of growing up in Whitehaven.

What, there's a sculture of Charlie Diehl sweeping? I'll look for it if I'm ever allowed on that campus again.

He was a good man, and you're right he did great work. I really like the plaques.
