      <![CDATA[My point is not to argue with young artists getting a feature. <br>
<br>
I'm not as concerned with the age of the artists as with the attitude that was implied by Ms. Pierotti's comments which seemed to take a swipe at the "older established" artists as well as the instructors at the institutions with her comment "It's kind of overwhelming how much talent is here.

      <![CDATA[This sounds like an exhibit I will enjoy, and will try to get there this weekend. <br>
<br>
I am sure there can never be enough coverage of the arts here to satisfy everyone, but it hardly seems productive to argue with young artists getting a feature, when what the commenter seems to be on about is that older artists don't get the respect they deserve either.

      <![CDATA[I'm simply pointing out that Memphis has been retaining its young artists for a number of decades. This is neither a new nor out of the box idea.<br>
<br>
It is through the dedication of the older and established artists and musicians that Memphis is an arts town.<br>
<br>
Now, when may we expect the 10 OVER 30, 40, 50, 60, 70...showings?
