      <![CDATA[It is not listed in the State Constitution as a state jurisdictional area. Job creation does not violate the free-market; true, but I was stating that it does violate the specific duties of state officials and their boundaries listed in the Tennessee State Constitution.

      <![CDATA[Whether or not the subsidies are a good idea for Tennessee is a matter of debate, but I don't think this violates the idea of a free market system.<br>
<br>
Different local governments are free to set what level of incentives they are comfortable with offering to companies looking to build. The company is free to build where they see the greatest economic interest.
