Sorry, the prominent Democrats who support Amy Weirich are attorneys who know that the position is NOT about politics but is about making Shelby County a better place to live & raise a family. Weirich is a career prosecutor who has focused throughout on bringing justice to wrongdoers on behalf of victims and their families.

I do not think Jim Kyle would be a strong candidate for the Democrats anyway. Veronica Coleman, Tomeka Hart, and Carol Chumney would soundly defeat a political novice like Amy Weirich.

This would be a perfect opportunity for Carol Chumney to make a political comeback.
