      <![CDATA[Is there anything to prevent the Grizzlies from using amnesty on someone like Conley or Gay (so paying their contract in full) and then resigning them for the league minimum in order to free cap space to add another top-tier player?<br>
<br>
It seems like if the organization and player had an agreement and trusted each other, this would be a no-brainer. The team would obviously benefit from having someone like Rudy on the books for like a million a year, and room for someone else at or near his salary level.
