Not if it keeps hundreds of other people from voting who would otherwise be able to legally vote, no. But let's talk about non-verifiable electronic voting machines, where entire elections could be stolen....

Only when I was a registered voter in Kentucky was I ever checked for ID and no one seemed to have a problem with that.
Like I said,if it prevents only ONE case of voter fraud,isn't it worth it?
During the 2008 elections,my deceased father's name was still on the voter rolls despite his dying in 2006.I made a point of telling the poll worker about that.Maybe she remembered it,maybe not.It's possible someone could have come through trying to vote using his name, but,you never know.

What's far more common, but gets less attention from the chest thumpers of election integrity, is vote hacking of electronic touchscreen voting systems.

As for Occupy, apparently you don't understand that one of the movement's core principles is that our political system is broken, for which both parties (and, indeed, the two-party system itself) are equally to blame.

1) Everybody should be able to vote with minimal hassle. But, not everybody should own a gun.

2) Making grandma spend $30 for cab fare to the DMV to get a photo ID is just plain mean.
