      <![CDATA[Saw Kid n' Play open for Public Enemy at the Coliseum in 1989 a few days after one of Heavy D.'s dancers died flipping off some riser before the Indianapolis show. Heavy D. & The Boyz weren't on the bill, of course, but Kid n' Play and Digital Underground with a lil dancer named Tupac was.<br>

Just slightly tangential, but that's what the high-top fade always recalls in my memory.
