I am very sorry, but he withdrew the day that the CMS board was to make its choice, because he knew he was not to earn the spot.

His withdrawing does not mean that it resulted in someone else earning the spot. It just means that he flipping withdrew when it became obvious that the CMS board did its homework on Kriner.

Kriner had too much baggage and pulled out to save face. I also doubt that the folks in Charlotte would have paid him what he makes here and gave him a charted driver and bodyguard and would have had Irving come along for the ride as well.

It is nice that the folks in Charlotte actually researched Kriner for once because it is obvious that no one here in Memphis did at all.
