      <![CDATA[This is exactly the type of thing I've been saying the city needs to be doing, urban renewal and marketing to the young, single professional.<br>
<br>
To steal from Mr. Romney, Memphis needs more of the 53 percenters in its borders, and the only way to increase that number is to market to them to get them to move back to the city.<br>
<br>
In every city, suburbs and their suburban school districts typically attract the young families. The cities that have the most success financially are the ones that focus on urban renewal to bring the young, typically single professional to their area.

      <![CDATA[We are seeing the transformation of Midtown- as young adults abandon the soulless suburbs for a more urban experience. In the 80s we had the preppy culture that swept up the masses that were looking for an identity to cling to.
