      <![CDATA[I used to buy these when I lived in New Mexico - not a new novelty at all. However, while vegans may rejoice at the fantastic opportunity of having the chance to crunch down on deep-fried cracklins without the accompanying guilt, I recall that the saturated fat content was actually higher than the porcine version.
