The argument the businesses have is that is too easy to claim you have had your wages stolen and that businesses would be constantly in court and hiring lawyers to defend frivolous claims from every disgruntled ex employee.

Not saying I agree, just saying.

If employees are taking away tips from their employees, as has been alleged, why would there be opposition to stopping that practice?
