Why not arrest the people that were selling and buying drugs at the time they were doing it. It seems as though she had the club in her sights, not the criminals.
What is so bad about this is that with this publicity, when that clubs opens again, it will have overflow crowds and be able to charge more than it does now.

I agree on Ritz. The suburbs have every reason and every right to tell Ritz to shove it after the way he handled the previous round of mediation.
From my understanding, some of the members of the Memphis side were willing to be reasonable with negotiations, but he was the ring leader in making sure that what they discussed didn't match what they put on paper.
I'd love nothing more than to tell Ritz to shove it myself.

I can see where your logic comes from and believe me when I tell you it is not derived from any founding father’s notion of self government of a Republic they had in mind. Your notion is that of a banana republic of communist tyrants.

Gerrymandering of Constitutional principles have landed us where we are today, and that is staring third world status in the face due to the corruption and acceptance of Communism and Marxist principles by the media, minorities and Democrats.

The more the corruption from the WH is brought into the light, the better the economy tends to grow simply because “public trust” becomes an issue and those corrupting that trust are being thrown into the lime light and their crimes are presented under the scrutiny that everyone else has know about for seven years.

I NEVER relate to race whereas YOU ALWAYS suggests the black president “deserves” some leniency because he is black and criminal “community organizing” strong arm tactics, deceit and bad behavior is just his nature.

We have had the discussion about scrict scrutiny before and the munis are not afraid of it.

To me, the teachers should have the role of posting qualifications, proficiency in English, conduct, etc, but should not arbitrarily pick the names for consideration.

The Nashville case was a very close call, however, it hinged on intention and since ordinary scrutiny was used, all of the onus fell on the plaintiff to prove intent. In the Memphis case, there is a past history of segregation, state and county-wide.

I do find it interesting that Ritz is going to attempt to sit down with the suburban leaders. I'm not sure his motivation, but the fact that he appears to be seeking the suburbs out is a good thing in my opinion.

My guess is that he realizes there aren't many plays he has left, and he knows how tenuous the 14th Amendment challenge is. I'm certain the CC8 lawyers could come up with some arguments, but coming up with arguments and having them stick are two different things.

It will be interesting to see what, if anything, comes from those talks.

I am not too quick to jump on the discrimination bandwagon over this. What I am concerned with is the procedure that was used and I think that is what upset the young lady.

The English teachers should not have a role in this.

The Spurs do cut a decent amount, but in large part, they punish you with Parker on the pick and roll hitting shooters that like to lurk at the 3 point line.

That makes it a lot easier for the Grizzlies to play Bayless. Against the Clippers, you couldn't play Bayless, because he would end up on Jamal Crawford, Chauncey Billups, or some larger guard that would break him down off the dribble.

She is an adolescent and her feelings got hurt.
Thats all that happened here.
You might be interested to know that Mr. Blocker, the system official that did the investigation, is a black man.

The thing that is wrong with your posts is that you fail to take into consideration on what the founders of this nation built it upon. This nation was built on the principle of majority rule.

You also conveniently refuse to recognize that President Obama was elected by the majority of electors as well as the majority of the voters.
