I just find it so interesting the way people choose to interpret the instructions Jesus gave in order to fit the evangelical lifestyle they have chosen to follow. Matthew 6:5-6 is one of the most explicit sets of instruction Jesus gives in the entire New Testament.

Did you know that blacks discriminate against blacks? I read a newspaper article a few years ago about one black woman suing another black woman for discrimination in Atlanta.

That old thing is older than I am, hell dating all the way back to slavery and right after. You see, color was equated with who had the most human character (white) So, the light skin blacks were given the best jobs on the plantation, working in the big house and even after slavery and, in a lot of places, even today, the light skinned, fair haired blacks get the best jobs and are the first hired.

2012 State of TN unfunded liabilities (OPEB) $3.056 billion, with a population of 6.456 million people.

Memphis unfunded liabilities (OPEB) $1.34 billion, with a population of 655,155 people.

State has 10X the number of people in the state.

It looks like the state does have the authority to make them adjust their budget if it is not within the standards set by the Comptroller and the constitution. The budget must "comply" with the state rules.
