By the time I read this article, I had read two other articles discussing the national trend. I think it's a combination of generational and economic factors.

We don't know how much of my generation wants to be tied to a mortgage, because for most of our careers we as a generation have had a hard time finding and keeping jobs.

When the economy has completely recovered, we will find out how much is economically driven versus generationally driven.

As far as Germantown is concerned, when I look on my immediate neighborhood streets, the houses are moving.

Why are you so skeptical about facts from credible sources when it does not agree with your way of thinking?

I don't care how you parse it, the fact is that there is a movement of people, especially generation y, that are preferring to live in urban cities, rather rent than buy. Google the internet on the subject and articles will buttress this.
It is funny that when I tried to convince Grovereb84 about the population of Memphis, he and most of you readers laughed at me. Well, what more do I need to say?

There are many people who wants to see Memphis as a dying city, but, it won't happen. As the economy gets better, Memphis' population will either maintain or go up, albeit gradually, keeping up with the new jobs.

The problem with you suburbanites is that you only look at things through your partisan eyes.

Call the dude "hoss" once...not ok, but not unforgiveable. But, after dude protests the moniker, the judge uses it again, quite intentionally....very disrespectful and unprofessional.

I'd bet that you think a Rudy Gay would help the Grizz out Wolfgang, wouldn't you? After all, he's 6-9, can jump out of the gym and get his own shot whenever he wants.

The comparison for the Grizz is the old Pistons title team with Rip Hamilton, Billups, Ben Wallace, Rasheed, and Tayshaun.

Nice analysis, but it does not address the fact that the Grizz just don't have the championship caliber players needed to win an NBA title. Tony Allen's antics don't help team cohesion either.

It all comes down to the wing rotation for me.

As mentioned, I think when Tony is in the game, I think he needs to be guarding Parker. In fact, I would try to rotate his minutes in such a way to maximize his time on Parker.

I think that'll be the best way we can slow the efficient Spurs offense.
