I love it, all the way to the screen name.

I will say that there are two major factions of the Republican party, 1) the religious right and 2) the fiscal conservative.

I have often voted Republican but only for fiscal reasons. I don't agree very often with the religious right, really very rarely if ever, and I have only one personal interest in the female sex organ, and it has nothing to do with abortion, or any of those choices.

On the state level though, you are probably right.

The only thing I can say is that it confirms my opinion of Senator Campfield as a moron.

Does sound high-tech. Perhaps we could get a company specializing in rocket surgery to move to Memphis.

While I, as a Republican, share much of your opinion about Mr. Campfield, I would look for a saner legislature this session. After so many years out of power, the last session was pretty much one where the Republicans pushed the limits of their power much like youngsters push their limits when they reach 21.
