May I offer the suggestion that sending the legislature pompous Resolutions, calling the legislators "Confederates" and issuing supoenas for their e-mails and correspondences in the hope of finding something that could be construed as racist might have something to do with bringing the East Tennessee legislators around to our side?

Might also have something to do with filing a lawsuit claiming the municipal leaders (one of whom is the Majority Leader of the Senate) are deliberate racists. That could have played a small part as well.

Note the "more than 50 co-sponsors"

Read it and it will plainly tell you what suspect classification menas.

It means people, not entities.

Even if you don't, someone else that reads these posts will go there and check it out and know that I am right about suspect class.

I'm not going to look it up again at the moment, but in the very beginning it states that the ban is being lifted due to the inefficiencies in funding that come with larger districts.

Like I said before, the school board is helping us out every day.

I wasn't doubting that suspect classifictions were people, that is not even the point.

The point is, that the governmental policy or law must by intent apply to a suspect classification and the municipal law, applying to cities, and not to any racial group, does no such thing.

Suspect classification under strict scrutiny has nothing to do with the ntity, such as municipalities, but is the people, classified as by, either race, national origin, religion or alienage. Look it up if you so please.

Suspect class has nothing to do with the place and or the ior the institution, it always apply to a set of people.

As an aside followup on the poster that harped on entitlements, entitlements were and are based on income and net worth.
