With reserve sharp-shooter Mike Miller a leading candidate for the NBa’s 6th Man Award, which is given to the game’s best bench player, the Grizzlies sent promotional “M&M” candy boxes out to hoops writers and broadcasters across the nation. The boxes contain plenty of persuasive information, including that Miller is the leading bench scorer in the league and that he’s one of only three players in the past decade to have a triple-double off the bench. But the boxes are also emblazoned by a rather awkward slogan: OTHER TEAMS MELT AT THE STROKE OF HIS SHOT.
