America's Delta Blues: The Blessissippi Crossroads Concert
Price: $45 general admission, $150 VIP
Delta blues is celebrated during this concert hosted by Morgan Freeman and Charlie Annenberg Weingarten of explore.org.
Among the many performers are Lightnin’ Malcolm, James “Superchikan” Johnson, Maria Muldaur, Bobby Keys, and T-Model Ford. Proceeds from the concert go to the Delta Blues Scholarship Fund to provide education for adults and children in music and music technology through programs run by Delta State University and the Delta Blues Museum.
