In years to come, the quote above – which came from co-defendant and “cooperating witness” Barry Myers and turned up on a surveillance tape -- may come to be a shorthand for the motivations of the elected officials and public-sphere wannabes who got caught in the FBI’s Tennessee Waltz sting. As former state senator Dixon’s trial — first of several to come — heads into its second week, we’ve compiled a number of the key quotes for your illumination and reading pleasure.
